Original Pizza and Italian Ristorante is truly a family business. Raffaele (Ralph), Carmela and Giuseppe (Carmela’s father – now retired) started this legend back in 1991. They were all born in Italy, Raffaele came from Napoli, Carmela and her father were born in Sicilia. They emigrated to New York where Carmela eventually met and fell in love with Ralph. They moved to Colorado with one goal in their mind, to bring the “Best Pizza and Italian Food” to this region. And they’ve been doing just that. From that time, they have felt Colorado to be their home. Their children: Alessandra, Daniela and Alberto also have a big role in the family’s business success. Daniela and her husband Dan (who started working here as a dishwasher at the age of fifteen) are currently running the restaurant, with the help of their siblings, so that Ralph and Carmela can enjoy more time traveling and spending more time with their grandchildren.
